Yasmin Le Bon colour codes her clothes
The 44-year-old model stores all her pieces in tissue paper and with appropriate shades to ensure they last as long as possible.
Discussing how she cares for her body-conscious dresses, Yasmin explained: “I have a lot of Azzedine Alaia. I did all of Azzedine’s shows. I wrap mine in acid-free tissue paper and layer them in trunks, graduating the colours so the darkest items are att the bottom and the lightest at the top. Colours drop, even through tissue paper.”
Yasmin is a huge fan of figure-hugging clothing, adding she keeps all her old pieces in case they come back into fashion.
She told Britain’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “There’s a subtle art to making body-con work. The really great stuff, the really expensive stuff, has little elements of ribbing in the right places that accentuate certain parts and downplay others. Those pieces are always going to be an investment.
“Never let go of anything – unless it’s absolutely life or death – because you just don’t know when it’s going to come round again.”
