Shopping for Up-To-Date Style

A few tips for those of you trying to hunt down some of these pieces to add to your own wardrobe.

For those who haven't time to hunt out the bargains and specific pieces, head over to Shop Style and let it search some of the top internet fashion sites for you.
  • Remember to use the little national flag selector on the top banner wisely. If you don't want to pay international shipping, set it to your own country. If you just want your item, choose international.
  • You can search via brand name, style, item or design details. Make it easy for yourself and narrow or widen your search as required.

Usually the first online stop for lovers of high fashion. Don't expect frequent bargains on here, but do expect to find an excess of the latest red carpet fashion at your finger tips.
  • Register to get email notifications of when the sales hit and be sure to update your selections of favourite designers so that you can be notified when their new stock arrives. There's also a wish list function to make use of.
  • Despite the difficulty of trawling through all of the items, it's well worth hitting at sale times for grabbing the latest pieces at a cut down price.

Well worth the wait for end of season stock with an array of amazing designer pieces available to you at bargain prices. Frequent stock updates and styling tips.
  • Again, it's well worth registering in order to get email notifications. They tend to get a pile of new stock from the same designer at once and always at great prices, so hang in there for your favourites.
  • The sale time prices for the real deal on here are often cheaper than shopping for the high street rip-offs. Save your pennies, avoid the sale riots and shop online to get perfect covetable items in exactly your size.

Exclusive, invitation only, limited access to private designer sales at breathtakingly low prices. I also like how the items are posted out in a cute be-ribboned designer shopping bag to almost give you the full boutique experiance. It makes me want to walk round the block carrying it before undoing the ribbon and unwrapping the items from the monogrammed tissue paper.

  • You can sit on the waiting list to join this... or you could just use my invite code and get in there straight away. The terms and conditions state that I can post my invite code on a personal blog but I'm not sure if this counts as a personal blog or not. So just leave me a comment, email me or just shout out on GirlsOnFilm and I'll get an invite emailed direct to you from Cocosa.
  • Make sure to read their terms and conditions once you've registered. If you don't play nicely you're chucked out.
  • Keep track of what's coming up and check out the previews in advance of the sales. Check size availablity too. Items sell very quickly and are often in very limited quantity before the sales even start. If you think you want something, decide before the sale starts and be sat at your computer prompty at the start of the sale to grab it.
